(Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation) project (H.F.R.I. Project Number: 23669), financed through the 3rd Call for H.F.R.I.\u2019s Research Projects to Support Faculty Members &amp; Researchers under the Scientific Area \u201cManagement and Economics of Innovations\u201d, and hosted by the Hellenic Open University.<br><br>\nThe main objective of DESUS is to build a novel and comprehensive database of Greek start-ups, and use quantitative (financial) and qualitative (non-financial) information as well as the preference information of decision-makers to develop a multi-criteria judgmental rating model able to handle start-ups\u2019 uncertainty and estimate the probability of obtaining finance, which will then provide the basis for the development of an online decision support system (DSS).<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div However, there is a paucity of information on the types of start-ups that are more likely to secure finance from investors, which complicates investors\u2019 financing decision-making.
